How come when I play a .fli file from 3-D Studio's View flic menu command the result is full screen animation? The same is true for flic playback in the AAPLAY program that ships with 3-D Studio. Is it not possible to duplicate this effect in a windows environment. This would make possible -smooth- full screen animation at the minimal cost of .fli file size

Andrew: If you use AAWIN (Downloadable from our libraries here) you can chose the PLAY FULL SCREEN option from the menu to get full screen playback of any .fli or flc. To keep it smooth just load the whole animation into RAM. – Bob Ritger

Hi Andrew, It is possible to do fullscreen playback in Windows 3.1, but only through an undocumented feature in Win 3.1. This feature doesn't always work for all display cards and it doesn't work with Windows 95. – Grant -Grant Blaha [ADESK]
