OK, I guess I'd better spend the extra $450 then for the XP.

>OK, I guess I'd better spend the extra $450 then for the XP.< For that expensive of monitor, I would. But I run as high a rez as I can tolerate. (1280×1024 @ 17") Text is small, but the screen space is worth it to me. JNJ

I priced out the nec xp21 from my wholesaler and it came in well under $1500 I'm not sure of the actual selling price but with a complete system it itemized around $1250 or less. Thats what I paid for a 17" not too long ago. I'll get one when there down to $500 or am I just dreaming? My father recently purchased a magnivox 37" I think for around $725!! I wonder if that's any indication of computer monitor price trends? Timothy

You're getting a good deal there with that XP21 for $1250. We just mail ordered an XP17 for around $1100, and a Panasync/Pro 17" for around $850.. That Magnavox 37" probably doesn't do high rez, or high refresh though. Monitors are gradually going down, but aren't being drastically replaced like processors, etc. A high quality 21" won't be $500 for at least a year or more, IMO.

Check with Jim Perkins 73303,2725 for the actual price. I've gotten good deals from him on everything else I've bought in the past. Timothy NVision Inc. & Digibotics

>Check with Jim Perkins < I wish I had before I got my Panasync/Pro.. but I like it, and don't really have the desk space for the 21.. 🙁 Mabe later. JNJ
