Hello Does anyone know how the convert a HP-CAD exported file to .3DS or .DXF the file extensions are .IGS, .SAT, .STP Kindest regards Raymond

Which file formats can HP-CAD export? Does it export to DXF? If it only exports .IGS (IGES) files, you might be able to use AutoCAD's IGES converter. STP (STEP) is more difficult. AutoCAD R13 should be able to load the .SAT (ACIS) file, too.

Thank you I will check it out. is there any thing that I should be aware of when converting? What should I expect to lose in the process
