#Mech Warrior Animation?
8 messages in this thread
Hi Alan,
I just got Mech2 and was quite impressed by the work Digital Domain
did. What are you using in your work for Activision?
HH
I'm just putting some 3DS/3D environments together for a Mech Warrior add-on
release, Harley.

Are these environments for gameplay or for cutscenes?
Harley
They're for cut/scenes, Harley.
For the latest in good-looking (pre-rendered) 3D game play, check Rob Stein's
work in 11th hour which should be released (if it hasn't been already) real
soon (or so I've been told).

Alan,
Did you do the MW2 animations as well? They were sharp. 3DS?
Tell them to get that NetMECH out ASAP! 🙂 That game cries for big network
play.
Are you going to Autodesk U?
JNJ
No, John. I'm sorry to say that I was not resposible for that fine work. I hope
to be able to do more of that kind of stuff for them, though.
No AU for me this year — I've just got too much to do…

Alan,
It sure was a nice flic. (smacked, of course) The small text at the end was
the only thing that didn't look flawless. (well, as flawless as a 2-4x anim
could be..) I thought it was done by some "expensive stuff".. but wasn't sure.
3DS has had a very impressive year for major productions. I'll be looking out
for your animations, and will probably bug you sometime on some related stuff.
🙂
Well, gearing up for AU here.. while finishing up 4 big projects and a hardware
upgrade.. <groan> Only a few days now.. 🙂 Mechadaeus' sessions should be
interesting, as well as many others.

Alan,
I'd love to check out 11th Hour. Hope they can release it soon. From
what I've heard, it was nothing but hell to complete.
