#LenZFX 2 Problems
10 messages in this thread
David,
When I load some of the presets that ship with 2.0 I get and error
message about "missing rotate.cel" or something similar. Any ideas?
HH
It sounds like file LZFXGI.TGA in Lib 1 will take care of it.
LAM
Hi Harley,
ROTATE.CEL was left off the LenZFX 2 distribution disk by accident – sorry. We
are including it in the 2.01 update that ships out free to all registered
LenZFX 2 owners.
David – Digimation
Thanks David,
My copy of LenZFX 2.0 arrived a few days ago. Do I have to mail in my
registration before I can receive an update disk or can I phone it in?
HH
Hi Harley,
If you bought LenZFX direct from Digimation, then we have everything that we
need to send you the update. If you bought it from a dealer, then you can check
with them or send in your registration card (FAX it if you like).
David – Digimation
David,
I bought it directly from you. From your response, I take it I do not
need to send in my registration card? When do you expect to ship the update
disk?
Thanks,
Harley
Hi David,
I sent in my registration for LenZFX 2.0 on the 21st. Am I in line for the
upgrade? Speaking of upgrades, what ever happened to the World Builder
upgrade that I thought I was going to see in September. I'm still sitting on
a $1000 program that I have yet to see the title screen to. I can't use the
one I have now with the Imagine 128.
I also have a question about Flares and Highlites. I have my logo
"ImagiMation" floating over a pool made with a flat mirror, marble texture.
If I use "Highlite", and set the it to cue on brightness, the reflected image
is brighter than the original and I get too many reflected highlites. If I
use "Flare" and manually put highlites on the orignal ImagiMation, there is
no reflection of the highlites at all. I haven't tried it, but it seems like
if I would then put highlites on the reflection manually, they wouldn't be
oriented correctly to the flat image. Do you have any thoughts about a work
around for this?
Let's see, I managed to work the new company name in there twice, that oughta
do it. <g>
Thanks,
Terry
Hi Terry,
Upgrades ship out today for LenZFX 2 so you should get it soon.
World Builder 1.0 arrived on my desk today. Tim Fourcade should need a couple
of more weeks to finish the manual – it's huge. That's about how much time
we'll need for CD ROM duplication – so just a bit longer.
As far as the LenZFX question goes;
How about creating a mask over the pool area. Use one LenZFX entry keyed off a
certain brightness for the masked area and another LenZFX entry with lower
brightness on the inverted mask?
David – Digimation
David,
So a couple more days on one and a couple weeks on the other, ok. I'll try
your idea with the mask. Sounds good.
Thanks,
Terry
