#Forensic B & G

< How goes the "guns and knives" animation business, oh king of blood and
gore? >
It's a dirty, nasty, thankless job but somebody's got to do it.
To tell the truth, I like this stuff. And when you get down to it, I can't
really understand why anyone would want to go to the trouble and bother of
creating an animation without a dead body in it.
I'll be showing a bunch of this stuff in my Autodesk University forensic
animation class next week or so: CrimeArt.
See ya,

It does seem like a terrible waste, doesn't it!

I'll see if I can sneak away from the three classes I'm teaching to attend – I
always like listening to a master of his bloody craft!

Greg,
I've forgotten: what classes are you teaching?
Other than the "How You Too Can Be a Big Time L.A. Animation and Video and
Hardware Guru/Bon Vivant" class.
(I think I gotta sit in on a bit of that one.)

Aside from those <g>, I'm teaching:
"Advanced Video Tools" Tuesday at 2:00-3:30
"Video Tape Output" Tuesday 4:00-5:30, and
"Network Rendering" Wednesday from 4:00-5:50
When is your "incredibly realistic blood and gore" class? Or should I wait for
the book / movie / Cliff Notes version?

Hi Alec,
Where is Autodesk University? I am a 3ds4 user with Par etc and have toyed
with Forensic animation. How much
is your 2-3.30 class on Wednesday? Which Wednesday?
Thanks Martin
Hi Martin. In case Alec is too busy to reply, I'll jump in and help you out.
The classes aren't offered separately, they offered as conference sessions. I
believe the conferences run several hundred dollars for two days of classes.
There are however, many multimedia classes this year and if you can find the
extra cash, worth it. Autodesk University starts next Monday and is in San
Francisco at Moscone Convention Center. If you'd like more specifics, you can
download the files in the NAAUG/Autodesk University library.
Take care.

Kelly,
Thanks for the assistance!
Alec Jason
Martin,
I think Kelly answered this for you.
Alec Jason
Alec,
When is your class at AU? I'd love to sit in on that one.
Kelly
Kelly,
I'm giving a class on Forensic Animation: "3D Studio in the Courtroom".
Hope to meet you. Bring popcorn and a thermos of martini's.
Alec Jason
Kelly,
I forgot to add: its Wednesday, 2 – 3:30 pm.
Alec Jason
Cool. I'll be there!
Kelly
