I saw a posting several months ago saying that, sadly, Timm had died.

Thank you for the information which is very saddening. It is a grievous loss
for the AMIGA community and for his family of course. What surprises me though,
is that I had a discussion on this topic with benchie (benchie@cup.portal.com)
who told me he had heard the same rumour but had also heard that Timm had
recovered from his illness and was even going to get married. I don't know what
to believe. I think I am going to send a letter to Timm's latest address I had
in Cincinnati, OH. and I may get some sure information then.

Let us hope that the rumour is ill-founded, then. I registered SID2 with Timm
right at the beginning and even featured it in an article for a Belgian
computer magazine, but since then I have heard nothing from him. If you hear
anything positive I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know. Thanks,
