Panasonic WV-3100 available for sale. Uses a Newvicon tube. This is not a camcorder. It is a stand-alone TV camera. In good cosmetic condition and works well. $80 + shipping. Reply to private Email Dave Felder

Al, It's a panasonic WV3100. Single Tube Newvicon, color, working w/working power supply. Uses a 10 pin connector to a deck, or to the p/s, where there are RCA audio & video outputs. I was asking $80 + s/h. To Chicago I would estimate probably under $10 UPS. Interested? Dave

will you take $75 shipped?

Al, $75 shipped? Will you send me a check? If you expect COD, I'll ask you to pick up the COD charge and I'll pick up shipping. If you want to save the $5.00 COD charge, you can send a check in advance. Agreeable? Dave Felder 5 Hibernia Rd. Rockaway, NJ 07866

>>> Is camera good enough for use on a copy stand?…for pix..or is the picyure..yuchh??>..and best uded only for blacking out videotapes ..soemhow, I dont rember the camera…. when was it out? Al, Personally, I wouldn't use it for pictures on a copystand. A single chip consumer camcorder would do a better job. If you didn't have a camcorder, and didn't want to spend $500 on one, than this would be a cheap alternative. I didn't say great alternative, I said cheap. As to age, I believe an old 1983 catalog has the camera in it. It's a Panasonic WV-3100. I got it from a client who couldn't pay me for a job. He got it from a school he did some work for, who wouldn't pay him. I see your name here enough that I assume you are a professional video guy. Being in the same position, I can tell you that I would not attempt to sell the output of this camera to a client. (Unless they owed me money! <<g>>) For blacking out tapes, the camera should do fine. I believe you offered $75 for it. If you're changing your mind, please let me know ASAP because other folks have expressed interest. Thanks — Dave
