Hi. I just loaded 3ds4, on my computer w/ a Matrox Ultima 4MB graphic card. The vibrant Graghic software only accepted my card at the lowest resolution. I asked Matrox without answer so far. Can you tell me if there is some hope short of buying a new graphic card. (I checked the updated Vibrant Drivers V1.0.8c3) Thank You. Patricia

Patricia, I have used MGA Ultima+ video cards before and haven't had a problem running resolutions up to 1152×882 with 3DS4. Your message didn't include the size and type of monitor you are using, but if you have a small monitor (14" or 15") you might be limited by it's capabilities more than the video card. If you have a 17" or larger monitor you might need to download the latest drivers directly from Vibrant's BBS. They revise & update their video drivers all the time so they should have a fix for your card (although I don't know whether or not Matrox is still making the Ultima cards anymore). Also, if you don't already own it, Vibrant's "Liquid Speed" for 3D Studio is an excellent graphics accelerator software that speeds up vector redraws in 3DS. Additionally, it includes direct software support for almost every video card produced, incuding Matrox Ultima cards. Their voice and BBS are numbers are: PHONE: (512) 250-1711 BBS: (512) 918-3411 Drop me a note if you have anymore questions. Tim F.
