Hi,
I have a background image upon which I wish to place a sprite (with movement)
with no motion path e.g. to place the tutorial example Bird.avi on a background
screen whereby its wings move up and down, but the bird itself does not move
across the screen (background) i.e. it remains in one position with its wings
moving.

shouldn't be a problem. turn time mode on, pick the initial position, use
Preview motion to make sure bird doesn't go anywhere… and render. (just tried
it… works) 🙂
