to all those people who want to write amiga 68060 apps
it is now possible through barfly 1.29 assembler
it's a 70DM/50 US dollar assembly program for the amiga which has support for
68060 and other things,complete with documentation…
and other utilities…
Barfly is available at ftp.netnet.net/pub/.aminet/dev/asm/
and at aminet
Barfly registered would allow people to write 060 optimised programs now and
supports sasc programs
have fun
it will be uploaded here soon
What exactly is added in 68060 assembler?

well a 68060 has more registers, larger than the 040 ones
it has 64bit divide/other junkand a 12k mmu page size..
barfly 1.24 is 50 dolloars registered…look at it in the aminet
developers/c/ or something similar
i'd get it but don't know amiga assembler
the demo is prety useless though it only handles 8k files
060 has more and larger registers than the 040? is that cpu/fpu or both? I
hadn't heard anything like that before
Phill
