I now have a 28k CI$ node. Should I change my link speed? It's at 38400 right now. Gracia, on AutoPilot from Cooleemee, NC

Gracia, <<I now have a 28k CI$ node>> Congrats, your just exactly 12 times faster than my local node. Seems the North pole is always last with the new technology. 38,400 is great. I think it has to do with the speed the packets are pumped into your machine. The next step up from your modem speed seems to be the norm. BTW, if you have an external modem, what seems to be the median throughput rate? I found another Internet provider shortly after my first CI$$$$ internet bill. I hang between 24,000 and 26400 all the time. A (PeeCee) friend of mine can't get above 21,600 with the same provider. Survey Says! Jim
