PPage screen help please
6 messages in this thread
I need help with a vexing problem. I was fooling around with the screen
mode function on wb 2.04 to see if I could increase the screen size of Pro
Page when I got it so it magnified the Pro Page screen so high it is
really unusable. I went back to wb to fix it, and set it back to the NTSC
HiRes default, which I believe is 712-220, but the Pro Page screen stayed
the same. Desperate (I am on a deadline), I even tried reinstalling Pro
Page and it again came out that same magnified size.
Does anyone know how to get it back to normal. I promise I will never fool
with it again. Help!
Jeff…
Propage creates some files in your S directory. Try renaming PPage.DFLT to
PPage.DFLT.OLD and ProPage should let you reset your defaults.. The first line
in my copy of the file is SCM 644 412 1 32772 which I suspect means my default
screen setting is 644 x 412 pixels and 1 bit plane.

I found the answer sometime around three a.m. this morning. For some reason I
missed the screen mode in the prefs on Pro Page. UP came a requester box, and
it showed that the pixels were out of whack. I reset it and it was just fine.
THanks for the reply, though.

Don't know if this will help, but standard NTSC hi-res should be 640X400,
overscan would be a bit more. Good luck!

Thanks, fortunately I found the answer in something I overlooked — in the
prefs on Pro Page. Thanks for your help, though.
