> any idea on the cost of the upgrade to Maple V Release 3? I have not heard, because I am supposed to get my upgrade free. About two years ago I have promised Release 2 in a "couple of months". When I called them back and they told me I would have to wait for Release 3 to upgrade, they kindly offered to give me the upgrade free, when it was available, since they had misled me before. I called for my upgrade about a week ago. I will post a review here after I check it out. ._ _ _ INTERNET: mshea@math.arizona.edu | | |ichael _>hea COMPUSERVE: 76665,3360

Brian, Ordered my Maple V R3 less than 5 days ago and already recieved it! Cost was $149.00 plus shipping and customs. I'm not really sure what the shipping and customs charges are but I'm sure that when my credit card statement shows up I'll know <grin>! Discussing the future of Maple for the Amiga with the sales rep at Waterloo didn't sound real promising. They aren't making any official statements other than they are going to see how well this R3 sells. I recommend all us Maple heads encourage each other to upgrade as soon as possible if for no other reason than this release could be the last one for us Amigains… EdV

Ed, Where do you order Maple? -Richard

Richard, I purchased an old version from a CIS member and then ordered the upgrade directly from Waterloo Maple Software! I got their telephone number from the posting Micheal Shea put on CIS — try (519) 747-2373. I'm pretty confident that if you want to purchase the complete package directly from them they will assist you — don't forget to ask about any student discounts, etc… EdV
