True, but I have a low memory (6MB) system and the C++ (key is ++) compiler is
unacceptably slow on my system. The straight C compiler is good. It is using
the C++ compiler that is just not productive for me. More memory or an
accelrator may improve this.

On a differento note, since YOU of all people sent me this note (yes you're
famous.) You write printer drivers, eh? So I believe…. I was looking into
a Canon BJ4000, or 4010 I think… you make such a thing? I seem to recall you
had a printer driver package of some sort available. Could you help me a little
with this? If you don't have such a thing, could/will you make it, or have you
even though of this printer? Maybe its backwards compatible with another
driver. Not sure. Thanks.
Well, I personaly prefer the 600e over the BJC 4000. Similar, I prefer the BJC
610 over the BJC4100. But it all depends on you personal taste. Currently, I do
think the BJC 610 is a very good deal. It is offering the reliability of the
600e with 720 dpi support. At least I would prefer this printer over a DJ 850
and Stylus Color with all it's problems. As far as the DJ850 concerns, driver
development on the Amiga doesn't look to good as this printer requires a rather
different dithering compared to other ink jet printers. Unless HP does sell the
printer in major quantaties in the Amiga market, such developments don't pay
off.
I'd probably go Canon since I have a friend who owns a store, that can
distribute their stuff (actually my ex-boss, has an office supply store) so I
could get Canon, Brother, Star stuff a lot cheaper than Epson (20-35% off!).
My main question is driver support: the OS has no drivers for the 600e or
4000. I thought you might make them. Is this true? If so how would I obtain
them?
