I'm afraid my dear 'ole A2000 is on the blink and it seems to be the accelerator card. Either that or the motherboard, but the accel. seems to be the place to begin. So, does anyone have for sale a GVP 030/40Mhz or 50 Mhz card, or a GVP 040 card that they would be willing to sell. Do NOT need RAM as I already have 3 4Mg GVP SIMMS. Ideally would like to try the card out, and if I can get it to work in my system, would gladly buy it. David.

Hi david ! I think i have what you're looking for : a Gforce 040/33mhz/last ROM from GVP (vers 4.13)/16 meg (optional if you don't need it, i will have no problem to sell the ram separately in France). I bought it in february from Select Solutions (U.S.A.). Now i want to upgrade to a '60 board. Please Email me your offer. Regards. NB: I'm living in France

How 'bout $700 bucks US; so will that board work off of our power supplies here in the US? Guess it would have to, and that the power conversion all takes place in the power supply. Second question: how would we handle shipping and payment. Let me know your thoughts. David ps. Where do you live in France?

Hello David. I may have a GVP 040 board for sale next week. I have someone else that wants it, but didn't come up with the cash. I'll sell it with or without RAM, it now has 8 megs. You can reach me at 609 625 0472, or reach me on compuserve. Mike Brennan, Sir Render A/V

Hello David. Sorry I didn't return your phone call, I'm out on the road setting up a sound system for an Arabian gig. I recieved a check today for the 040 board. My client was holding out for an 060 board, but since their release is going to be held up for some time due to a lack of 060 chips, he decided to go ahead with the purchase. Sorry…… 🙁 If you need anything in the future, just drop me a line. Mike Brennan, Sir Render A/V

May need the '030 40Mhz if mine is bad. It's currently in the shop being evaluated. Any info on the history of this board? Any problems with it? Has it been used much. Any info appreciated. Thanks, and will let you know results of the service work. David.

Hi David. I tried to send you an email and I wound up sending it to myself /8-0> I called and left you a message that it is no longer available. My client didn't want to hold out waiting for an 060, and paid cash yesterday. Sorry…. 🙁 Mike
