I am having difficulty with the definitions you list for the Star Gemini 10X.
Neither one works satisfactorily. Is it possible to print directly via my
preferences driver? It has worked well with everything else before I bought WP.
NO. You have to use theirs drivers. There is one driver for each printer (over
170) and also one printer generator program with 30 pages manual on disk learn.

Jim, you can use the printer/driver you have set under preferences by selecting
the "Amiga Printer" in the WP printer selection menu. This works with the
version I have, version 4.1, dated 28 Sept 87. The printer will of course
behave as it did before when printing through preferences, so you should have
the left margin in preferences set to 1 and the right to the maximum for the
pitch you select (usually 80). WP just uses spaces for the left margin, so it
doesn't change the margin settings. The Amiga Printer is printer #1 in their
selection menu in my version.
Now I just have to get a less buggy version! Their printer driver for my Star
SR-10 printer doesn't do the right flush properly, but the flush does work
properly using the Amiga Printer and my driver for the SR-10, also works with
my IBM ColourJet and their driver. Also found that they don't close files
properly after loading them, meaning I can't save the file back to the original
name (or delete the original file – DOS error 202). When I cancel all jobs in
the print program, I can no longer access my printer without a re-boot.
