Many thanks for the info. Unfortunately, it isn't much help.
You see, I live in Toronto, and a transaction in Colorado just isn't within
my budget.
I've come across a dealer that'll let me have an A1000 and 1080 monitor for
$1400 (can). It sounds like a good deal, but I have to find someone to take my
128 system off my hands first.

No problem on the info, but maybe you could clear something up. what
exactly would make a transaction in colorado not within your budget? In my case
(while Im in the states) using mail-order not only saved me lots allowed me to
get my equipt. quicker, allowed me not to wait for restocking and saved me the
8.25% sales tax. In fact for a saving of 2.25% (ie it cost 6%) I was able to
have it delivered next day. (it was approx 2% for 3day). Now I dont always(or
usually even) shop mailorder but in some cases it has been beneficial. (esp. if
the company is reputable). If the rate of exchange is the problem, how much
approx would it ad. I ask this since I see many companies who sell to both
countries (some even in canada) seem to charge more canadian anyway. Thanks for

Perhaps I should have said, 'I don't think it would be wise, given the
reputation Canada Post has for delivering parcels undamaged.'
I could go courier, but that would break me too.
Furthermore, my parents (who objected to my getting a computer in the
first place) would have fits if they ever found out I was selling already.
(I've had the 128 for less than a year). They seem to be compuphobes, and
I can't sway them otherwise.
Anyway, it doesn't matter, because I have a dealer here that I know quite
well who's giving me a deal on his last demo system. I've shopped around here,
and couldn't find anyone to beat the price.
