Brian,
is there a white sheet or whatever of the AAPLAY.DLL, so I could call it from
Toolbook?
Thanks,
John

Full documentation of the .DLL is published in the Animation Support Libraries
developers kit. There is no documentation on line.

Animation Support Libraries: This developers kit includes C and Visual Basic
Programmers reference manuals for the Windows Player, Fliclib and File Format
manuals, Code examples and other support files, POCO and POE reference manuals,
and more. You can order this kit directly from Autodesk by calling
800-964-6432. The kit costs about $25.

Brian,
Thanks for that number on AAPLAY.DLL – Do you know if this .DLL is used by
every authoring tool (Toolbook, Director for Windows, IconAuthor, Ultimedia
Builder/2 etc..) because I'm putting together a presentation involving a lot of
.FLC animations, and I'd like to use the platform which you think has the best
link to the AAPLAY.DLL, as far as GDI memory, reliability etc. Also, Do you
know if there's a Autodesk Animation driver in 32 bits for Windows NT or OS/2?
Also, I remeber reading about a specific board that had hardware-accelerated
.FLC playback – a BitBLT board or something. Do you know anything about this?
Thanks again,
JOhn

Do you mean hardware? Sorry, I am not allowed to make hardware recommendations.
It is a Windows program, I would just get set up for the best Windows
performance.

There is not.

Sorry, no. I have heard about it on the forum. But never looked at it or used
it.
