I have a C-LTD with a Micropolis drive on the A-1000 and am extremely
please with the performance. Steve has had quite a bit of drive trouble with
the C-LTD drives. Ed Lippert of C-LTD used to be on here quite a bit. It has
been a long time since I have seen any messages from him. Attempt on my part
to call him have failed also. Though Ben's new driver software has been
released to C-LTD for several months now and I was told several months ago that
it would be ready for release by C-LTD in three weeks, I have heard nothing. I
don't want to cast aspersions but it looks as though their service level is
dropping. 73, bill
P.S. I don't need the speed improvement but am disturbed that registered owner
are not being contacted.
Bill, I received my new PAL and software from CLtd about 6 weeks ago. The drive
is noticeablely faster and now formats to 24 megs. I hae had absolutely no
problems with it. Maybe they lost your name? Later, Greg

real rushed for it just now since the A-1K has not even been on for nearly 2
