Dennis,
You put everything you had in RAM: into the arc-file. That's why I'm telling
you to put the one you want to ARC into a directory all by itself. Then only
that file will get put in.
MAKEDIR RAM:FILENAME
CD RAM:FILENAME
COPY DF0:FILENAME RAM:FILENAME
ARC M RAM:FILE.ARC will do it.
If you just put ARC and the file into RAM:, then ARC and the file will *both*
be put into the arced file, and will definitely make it bigger.

Thanks. Sorry for that last message, it was left after I had read your previous
one. That damn WHAP! I've gone back to AmigaTerm, more "personal" for my simple
needs.
