Is there an UNZIP program for Amiga here or at Amigatech? One that just de-ZIPs ZIPped files (I don't want to download the whole packge). If so, where is it? (What library)? Thanks. – Eric

There are no unzippers that handle all the files that PKZIP will produce. You'd be better off getting PKAZIP.LZH in Lib 5.

Thanks, I've got that, but it's so BIG! Was hoping for a ZIP "reader." – Emb

Eric: Look for a program called UNZIP that may work for you. It's reviewed along with PKAZIP and other Amiga compressionware in one of this month's mags.

Eric, UNZIP *may* be in Library 5 of User, but if memory serves me right, we had so many problems with it that we erased it and just went with PKAZIP, which worked well on everything. We like to have as many choices here as we can – but not if they are a constant source of problems to the members. If something gives lots of trouble to lots of people, we don't like keeping it around. There may be newer versions of UNZIP, but the one we had was a real pain to use – totally undependable. Betty
