Has anyone used a Canon Zapshot in conjunction with an Amiga? I have seen Zapshot images displayed on an Amiga; I just don't know what hardware and software was used. I also want to use Zapshot images in a database application. Any info or advice would be appreciated. John Steidl

I have used some of the higher end canon digital cameras (more expensive than the Zapshot) in conjuction with the FrameGrabber digitizer and found that to be the very best quality images I have been able to digitize using the framegraber. I just took the output intended to go to you VCR/TV (standard composite, single RCA male jack) and pluged it into the FrameGraber port. It worked great! -Jason71341,533

How good IS the XapShot? Also, is it possible to 'photograph' 5 images per second to create an 'animation'? — Ethan

Ethan, XapShot in continous mode will only do 3 frames per second. (looking at the ad slick) Dean DKB Software

Ethan, In my experiences with the XapShot I was very impressed. I dont own one, and only got to play with one for one aftenoon almost a year ago. I can't tell you how many frames/sec it can do but I would be suprised if it could do 5… -Jason71341,533
