Thanks for the Star data, Chris. I wanted the 80 dots for (dare I say it) GEOS. Malcolm

You use GEOS? I liked it when I had only the C-64, but now that I have the Amiga, I'm looking into finding the software on it. I wonder if there are any good PD Publishing programs out there?

Chris, the only thing that comes to mind at the mention of 'PD Publishing' is AmigaTEX, though I have never used it. I use PageSetter-II by Gold Disk, which can be had for under $75, and it's well worth the price.

I went to a bankruptcy sale the other day, and they were selling (pagesetter, I beleive) for $200!! And this was half price!!! (Also, that is in Canadian bucks!) Where do you find it for under $75?

That can't be PageSetter. Sugg. retail is about $145, and typically under $75 via mail-order. I'm sure you must read popular Amiga magazines at least occasionally and look at the mail order prices. Also, make sure that it is PageSetter-II, not the original.

Chris, Since I find that all the commercial programs (not just on Ami) leave a lot to be desired, I sincerely doubt if you'll find any good PD publishing programs (or any bad ones). You'll be hard pressed to find a better value than Geopublish. Wish I was joking. Malcolm
