Well to be honest our dealership is the 3rd best selling in Commodores
Eastern region. So I guess we sell ok!
I am telling you what happens.

Mark,
I don't mean to imply that you don't sell many Amigas. I am just saying
that if you are having a serious problem selling A2000's over A500's then
maybee you should consider the posibility that there are some factors in
addition to or instead of just mearly saying that CBM shouldn't offer both
machines at their current price point. I move several hundred units a
month, with an abnormally high proportion of them being A2x00 (and now
A3000) series machines. Two of the important reasons that we have far more
success with the upper end machines than most conventional dealers is
because of the way we sell the machines, and because of the type of
customers that we have worked hard to attract.
You say that the A500 is stealing A2000 sales away from you. Are many
of these A500 users regreting that they didn't buy A2000 a year latter? If
so then you should be selling more A2000's, if not then you are selling the
right machine for your customers and should be glad to see CBM improve your
installed user bases machines by offering an operating system upgrade.
