Reid, Is this the tape backup with its own seperate power supply/cord? Where does the data come from – par or ser? (I assume by the SCSI knock that it does not use an external SCSI port.) wmc

Data might come from the floppy port. Ron

Wayne, Yes, QICTAPE as shipped provides the tape drive mounted in a compact case, which also houses a power supply and cord. A cable connects to the external floppy port on the Amiga, where the data transfer takes place. (You can also plug it into the back of any external floppy drive you may have hooked up, provided it has a pass-thru. I didn't mean to "knock" the SCSI drive. Just trying to point out that this system is far cheaper than most SCSI drives and requires no special setup to function. I believe the reliablity of the QICTAPE system may also be better than most SCSI systems. Reid
