NEED HELP

TO ALL:
Does anyone know if it is possible to increase the memory of the
Amiga beyond 9 megs while using the Commodore 68030 card? I had heard that
they were planning to market a daughter board for the 68030 card that would
allow substantial memory upgrading. I have not been able to find out if
they (Commodore) still plan to release this and when or if there are any
third party boards available. I need the extra memory to take full
advantage of my JX-300 color scanner in 300 DPI mode. Any help would be
greatly appreciated!

Chris,
The CBM A2630 card (CBM's 68030 card) does have a connector for a
daughterboard, which can contain significantly more memory than 9 megs.
However, the engineer of the board David Hayne has stated that he does not
believe that CBM has any interest in building or marketing the daughter
board themselves. Thus, he has made available the schematic and any info a
hardware developer would need to build the daughter board himself, he has
made a few for friends, but don't expect to see an official CBM product.
You best bet, would be to find a friend (or yourself) with the technical
ability to build the card, and get the schematic from Dave.

Jason,
Thanks for the information! Do you have any idea how I can contact
David Hayne? I want to get the circuit board information.
Have a happy Thanksgiving!
