Manx is still around!

Hi Everyone,
Just to keep everyone informed, Manx is alive and well. It seems that
their phone service was interrupted for the period of time that I was
trying to contact them (I am expecting my 2.0 include files soon – now if I
could only get a copy of the autodocs).
I can't explain Manx's lack of a presence here and on other services. I
guess they have other tings to do…

Roy,
Mike Spille seems to have vanished…he hasn't been here or at the Manx
BBS either since the beginning of October. Don't know what happened.
John
John,
Perhaps Manx is cutting back, or Mike has "more important" business.
There lack of presence on these networks injure their reputation.

Roy,
It's very strange but Mike hasn't been around CIS, the Manx BBS or from
what I hear BIX either. It certainly looks like something strange is going
on there. Even if Mike has resigned (as previously suggested), you would
think that either he or someone would have left word of what is happening.
Right now, I have to conclude that there is no technical support for the
Manx C compiler.
John
John,
Mike seems to have been removed from his job, without anyone else to
take his place. The commercial networks have to connection to Manx's
technical support. I do not know if this is economic, bad luck, or
stupidity on Manx's part. I have noticed periods of time that many
different companies' representatives have faded in and out (do you remember
how often we used to hear from WP). I hope that Manx will change this
condition quickly before their growing apathy grows infectious!

Roy;
I understand that Manx itself is probably ok but that Mike left (and
possibly others) such that there isn't anyone that knows anything about the
amiga left. It appears that they have put someone incharge of the comiler
and expect that person to come up to speed in a couple of months (no doubt
a rather optimistic plan).

Bill,
That doesn't sound very encouraging. They better get their action
together or else SAS will ownt the C market on the Amiga.
