? Well, the good news is that Imagine 1.0 came in the mail. The bad news is that I followed the installation instructions and it DOESN'T WORK!! The program loads, starts to show a screen and aborts. I typed my name in and all that. DAMN I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS!! Anyway, if you have any suggestions?????? Bill Carey 74025,1243

Oh no not again. I suppose it would be a stupid question if I asked "Are you useing the first version ( .FP or not ) "?

Well, I'm using the FP version yes. But there's more to this… I called Impulse and got Mike Halverson. He gave some suggestions that I tried last night that didn't work, so I called today and asked for a new disk. One thing he mentioned though, was that it sounded like it couldn't find the Imagine.pic file. Just for kicks I came home tonight and copied the Imagine.pic from the .9 version disk onto the hard disk and it seems to run fine. Somehow that file got corrupted when I installed it. He told me that 200 other people got it at the same time and I'm the only one who had a problem. (figures) Haven't the slightest idea what I did wrong though. Still going to ask for a new disk, the Imagine.pic file is somehow tied to the program, I want the right one. Bill Carey

Same here, the way it comes up looks kinda primitive, my only complaint with the program so far. (Only had a few hours to use it) Started playing with the textures. Never had them before, didn't get the SV version of Turbo. Wish I had now, they're amazing. Did you get 1.0 yet? Bill

No I haven't got 1.0 yet. It took about 3 weeks after shipping started for me to get .9. Glad that somebody has though…. Brad Hayes
