Several months ago, there was mention of a new book being published covering SBPro4 and the Windows version. Has this been brought to market yet? David Czaya

A friend of mine saw a posting on another network that mentioned a book called "Superbase Supercharged". He said someone commented that it was for the windows version, but that 80-90% would be applicable to the Amiga version. – db —–> via Whap!

I wonder if that's the same book. I take it this was available now? David Czaya

"Superbase Supercharged!" *is* available now directly from the author, Fred Dalgleish out of Vancouver BC. Don't have number available, but Darin could get it for you. He also hangs out on the SPC Forum from time to time (GO SUPERBASE to get there). I don't recall what he charges for it. I'm also told that Bantam Books is due to publish it as "The Superbase 4 Developer's Guide" or something like that. Don't have a publication date, but methinks that it'll probably be cheaper than it is now (economy of scale and all…). –Duke

David, Go Superbase at any ! propmt and it will bring you to the SPC/superbase windows forum, Fred Dalgleish is a sysop there, (if Whap! would let me open te phone book I could give you his CI$ ID) he is also the author of Superbase Supercharged. It is the book you are looking for, it is written for SB4 for Windows but is mostly applicable for the amiga. It comes with to 1.2m 5 1/4 floppies that can be read by Cross Dos and all the DML and files run on the amiga, only he forms are unusable. The book is not cheap but is very well written and useful for us amigoids! He is also in the process of writting a book on superbase 2 (also for windows but useful for us). ..Steve Whap!ping from beautiful coastal South Carolina
