I am having a problem with the 'AUTO PUT' option in the materials editor It doesn't seem to be working. The only time a change takes place is if I choose the option from the pull down menu. HELP! HELP! HELP! Thanks Paul Boyd

if Auto Put is on it functions when you Render Last from within Mats Ed (hot key L).

Keep in mind that Auto Put only sends the _current_ material in the sample windows to the scene, and that it only works in conjunction with Render Last. – J
