Folks, I have Excellence V1.13, is there a newer version ? I am in the need to import/export files from/to Wordperfect 5.0 and Microsoft WORD 5.0, I know that I can import/export text easily from any of these wordprocessors. That is no problem if you have 1-10 of text, but you start having 200-500 lines of text and you loos formating data, like BOLD, underline etc. Is there a utility that will do this ? -Ed

There is a version 2 of Excellence!, more stable, and a bit faster… As to the utility to convert the text and formatting, the only one I know of, use to come with Prowrite, that converted some of the Amiga formats. I think I read that Final Copy also reads some of the other Amiga formats, but I haven't gotten my copy in the mail yet, so I'm not sure. I wish there was a utility to convert all the different PC, MAC, and Amiga formats! Maybe something for me to write when I have the time… Bob

V2.0 of excelence! has been out at least a year, maybe more… I don't remember when I got mine… They sent me a letter to upgrade, I think it paid $50.00, but I'm not sure. You should try contacting MSS to get your update. Bob

I may be wrong, but I don't think Prowrite converts any of the PC formats. Bob

Rob– If you write a wordpro conversion utility, I'll be first in line to buy it. My Amiga at work is surrounded by many PC's and Mac's…its really tough not being able to exchange wordpro files back and forth… Jonathan Jonathan – from Albany, NY, via whap!

Sounds like a good shareware project! Now I have to find some file layouts… Bob
