Chip_Rip help.

Sysop,
Downloaded CHPRIP.LZH hoping it would capture pictures for me. I run an
off the shelf Amiga 2000. Using chip_rip I can view black and white parts
of the pictures from games or even DPaint after I reset the machine. But
can't seem to figure out how to get the picture in color. Can you help?
Thanks. Chris
Chris,
I'm sorry, but the one time I tried it, ChipRip crashed my machine, so I
never spent any time trying to use it. Perhaps someone else in the forum
might be able to help, or possibly you might consider contacting the author
of the program for help.

David, Thanks for the response. ChipRip didn't crash the machine, as I
recall but it did produce interesting although useless images on the screen
which I assume were black an white renditions of the individual bitplanes.
Might try to contact the author, and DID discover the program was
ChipRip–had seen it in Compuserve Magazine. Thanks, Chris
Christopher,
I've used CHIPRIP successfully, and if I remember correctly, you can find
keyboard equivalents (options) in the documentation to help you adjust the
output as you move through bitplanes in memory. (Hope that helps)
