I have a friend — a LUCKY friend — who has access to professional VCRs
and laserdisc recorders. He has created some ARexx macros to digitize one
video frame with the Toaster, save it, maybe process it, then record it out
to laserdisc. The only problem is, the chain is broken at the Toaster
level: he cannot save directly to IFF24! Does anyone know of an ARexx-aware
utility that converts Framestores to IFF24?

No – NEWTEK wouldn't let the toaster frame format out, and we decided that
they were rare enough that we didn't want to waste the time reverse
engineering it.
However… NEWTEK says – mind you I'm quoting here – that they will, with
the 2.0 software, allow any developer access to the framestores. This will
be extremely good newz; we'll have that supported lickety split.
