Real 3D

I have recently gotten 'Real-3D Pro' and feel this package is the fastest
ray-tracer I have ever seen! Version 1.4 now has some really nice new
capabilities with wire frames for making objects. The mail order price was
a lot less than the retail price (not a shock), and it looks like this
package is well worth it.
The pro version supports Point editing right? that was my Major complaint
against the standard Version of Real 3D s
Yes, Real 3D 1.4 now has point editing. Hope this helps…
Thanx for the REAL 3d info /exit
I've been interested in Real-3D V.1.4 but have not been able to locate a
mail order source for it. I can buy it here for $500.00 but if I can avoid
that price I will.
Appreciate any info You can give me.

I bought it from Computability for $275 or something… I also was
dissapointed in price but as soon as I found $275, I went ahead and bought
it.
Generally Real-3D is good, (NICE PACKAGE, FAIR MANUAL). I would have
enjoyed more manuals & demos, but not much of that in it. <-I guess you
can call there BBS in Canada and get those. Real-3D is a cross between
Lightwave 3D & Imagine. Because of its ease of its use & speed, I
recommend Real-3D over Imagine. With the upgrade to 2.0, I think Imagine
will be better though.
I'm still in an early stage of learning, so if you get it lets exchange
some info on REAL….
THANX

This does sound like a good place to swap info about Real-3D. I look
forward to the Imagine 2.0 upgrade too, but I sure like the way Real-3D
works!
