This is going to look like I have the wrong forum – but wait! I have an IBM PS/2 Model 70 for sale. It has 8 MB of memory, a 120 MB hard drive, the IBM 8514/A graphics card and monitor, the IBM personal page printer (a postscript printer), and a bunch of miscellaneous software. I want an Amiga instead! Is there anybody out there who is in the same position as me who wants to trade? Bob Hayes

Hey, Bob, trade that 1000 for it! 🙂 (Not to be rude 🙂 :0 :)))) (really, big grin on my face) tmm/Richard Cunningham

Well, I'll trade your 1000 for the monitor cable….<g> Say – I've got an old Altos CP/M machine moldering in the closet – it's a fun little machine (and for its time, a brilliant design). Want to trade that, even-steven? Caveat – no monitor, no cables, but it shouldn't be too hard to find the stuff – just check the dumpster behind any computer dealer <g>

Funny thing is, I've got an old Altos MP/M machine and an old Altos Xenix machine. Neat systems. And they both work perfectly and I have software for them! 🙂 Darin SPC Superbase Technical Support – via Whap!

They are cool little machines, and real powerhouses in their day. Know of any Altos user groups? I'd like to get mine working again.

Yes, there's one here in Dallas. I'll find their address and give it to you.
