Gary, I'm still unable to get MIFont1.1c to iconify for me. Each time I select the [ESC] key, instead of an iconify icon I get a small window at the top center of the screen with the word RETURN in it. If I press the return key, the small window disappears and MIfont does not return. This has been happening with both 1.3.2 and now 2.04 WB. My system consists of: B2000 REV 4.3 MB Amiga GVP 68030 33MHZ with 68882 4MB 32bit memory GVP Series I SCSI controller KRONOS SCSI Host/controller ASDG 8MI memory expansion board populated with 4MB of 16 bit memory. 2MB Agnus chip installed on MegaChip 2000 card with extra 1MB chip ram. This brings total memory to 10 MB 2 – SyQuest 44MB cartridge drives 1 – Conners CP-3100 3.5" SCSI 100MB hard drive 1 – PRIAM ST-506 108 MB drive 1 – Wangtek 150MB streaming tape drive. I'm wondering if my GVP 3001 accelerator could be causing the problem. If I'm able later on this weekend, I'll yank it out and report to you the result. I can't imagine it to be caused by the controller cards or memory board. Perhaps it has something to do with the extra 1 MB of chip ram? Chris

Chris: This is one little bug in MIfont that I can't seem to track down. (And not only is it a rarity, but I can't get it to do it on my system no matter what). Essentially, when you hit the ESCape key, MIfont closes its main window (and custom screen, if you're running it that way) and then opens a little one on the WB. That's all there is to it. It's driving me buggy! (and for such a piddly function! Eeek!) I'm keeping my eye on it, though. If your pulling out the GVP has any effect, I'd really like to hear about it. Until then, I can only suggest you either don't use the iconify or run a custom screen to keep it off your WB. Sorry. We'll nail this one down yet! Gary – Mirror Image Prod. (416) 495-7469, via WHAP!

Gary, . I'll pull the GVP '030 later this weekend and report the result. Don't let it drive you too buggy! B^) Chris
