Dennis: If the files you want to tranfer to a 5.25" MSDOS disk are currently on a 3.5" (crossdos/msdos) disk, just take a blank 5.25" disk and your 3.5" data disk over to a local computer store and ask them to format the 5.25" and copy the files for you. Or, better yet, just head over to the Sears electronics department and do it yourself. If you do go to a store like Sears to do this, remember that the 5.25" drives in most compatibles today are High Density drives… keep that in mind when you format your 5.25" disk. You need to know if the drive you're going to USE the disk on is high density. If not, then be sure to use the following dos command when formatting the 5.25" disk: FORMAT B: /4 | | | | | Tells dos to format a DSDD disk on a HD drive Indicates drive (A or B) You'll be prompted for a volume label name… enter one. Then stick the 3.5" disk in drive A: (assuming the 5.25" is in drive B:) and enter: COPY A:\*.* B:\*.* That will copy all of the files on the 3.5" msdos disk to the 5.525" msdos disk, assuming there is enough room on the 5.25" disk to hold the files. Most computer stores are happy to let you use a machine for a couple of minutes. If this doesn't sound feasible to you, drop me a note and I'll give you my address where you can send a copy of the 3.5" disk you want to copy, and I'll return it to you with a 5.25". – Whapp!ng from the North Coast Michael
