David, I stand corrected, you can delete it, but Exe is one of those flags one must use with extreme caution. It's great if you're trying to prevent someone from altering or copying a EXE or COM file, but it cannot be reversed. Also, if the files are not written to Novell Netware specifications, they may lock up. To flag a file as EXE you do need supervisor rights and should have a backup. Sue
