Anyone out there want to recommend a great clipping routine? Place a circle or user-definable window over existing linework, automatically clips out everything inside or outside—great for vicinity maps, etc. I went through MCN, CADENCE and CADALYST, I know I've seen these out there (think one of them was called AutoView or something like that…) but just too lazy to reread all magazine issues for the year.

Dave, check out Lib.2 [AutoLISP/ADS] for DTL.ARC which clips rectangular details, and DETAIL.ZIP which clips circular details. Other routines are there if you browse the keyword "Detail". …Bob<G>

Thanks Bob! I'll say a blessing for you at our Turkey dinner tomorrow!

David: There were two here in the libraries at one time… DET.LSP was one, I think, and the other I don't know the name of… One cuts out squares and the other cuts out circles. Check in Library 2. If they aren't there, ask Jeffrey to look through the old stuff.. the circle cut was written by Len Switzer and was pretty impressive… C#
