The term "multi-media" has been in use since the first time anyone ever added sound to a slide show. Mammals and other products with sound (including some awesome games soon to be released) are multi-media products that have nothing to do with the "multi-media PC" or "multi-media extensions". Their sound output is provided through the normal CD-ROM stereo line outputs. You don't need a sound board or anything else associated with the new "multi-media extensions". Products that require multi-media extensions for Windows specifically state this. We do not sell any such products at this time. That's why I said we don't have the extensions — our products don't require them. Bryan/DAK There is 1 Reply.

Wow! Thanks Bryan for finally dropping that simple fact. If the rest of the CD world is as confused over MM, Mammals, MMext etc as I was (is) and having some three CDROM players that have and dont have audio ports, do and dont do have buffers of adequate size and access times of 300 to 600 ms it is really nice someone told me that the audio on Mammals will come out of my audio channels, and that the animation will work on even the slower drives (allbeit jerky). It is nice to know that most of the confusion is caused by the simultanious use of the term MULTIMEDIA to mean anything to anyone. Remember, it was many years before the term HiFi was understood in video recording but today seems to mean a specific audio technology. By the way, I never received a card for the second bundle buy and finally received it after much and many efforts. I still haven't received the card for the third bundle. I hope its still in the mail and I don't have to repeat the run around from last time (nine phone calls, and a 200 mile trips to Canoga Park). Thanks for your presence here on CIS. There is 1 Reply.

Bob, We haven't sent out cards yet on the third bundle. We need a little time to create the mailer, but I'll let you know when it goes out so you can watch for it. Bryan/DAK
