Amiga sound & sequencer?

Some one has given me a copy of Dr. T's Tiger Cub but I have no synthesizer
or other MIDI instrument. Is there any way to get the program to use the
Amiga 500's own speaker system to play the sounds. I also have a simple
Casiotone MT-70 with no 5-pin in or out and the DMC software from
Electronic Arts.

You will have to invest in a midi-capable keybd, or get one of the 8bit
digital audio samplers, (that are midi-capable) and then Tiger Cub will be
of use. The unit from GVP (DSS-8) is one such unit. Check out the April and
May '92 issues of AmigaWorld mag, for some articles on midi and samplers;
and Dec '90 issue of AWorld for info on sequencers.
Personally, I'd recommend getting a midi-capable keybd and a sampler, so
you can play with both. It just depends on what you want to create.
Also you should ck out SuperJam which is designed to use the internal Amiga
voices and help you make music, no other hdwr needed.

Actually, yes it plays internal sounds just fine. It's been a while since
I used it. Try the Utilities window and Internal Sounds. You can assign
one sound per track I think.
