AUTOFLIX – PULLING TEETH

Wayne,
Help! In spite of everything you taught me, I cannot get the Afega movie
compiler to work on my new machines. I know the problem has to be that the
renderings are not compatable, but I have used the EGAshade.bat file and
configured AutoSHADE for EGA and still get the funny little lines and the
message "some movie". I have tried every combination and shaderdfile that
I can find in the manuals to no avail.
Please tell me again what the SHADERDfile settings should be and exactly
what options I should chose when configuring AutoShade. We are using
version 2 on 386 machines and still have release 10 for the time being.
Thanks, Tommie
Hi Tommie, I really did get your voice mail message the other day, but you
forgot to give me your phone number and I did not get back to you right
away. I have it now (if it is the same as before) but right now I am in my
38000ft office and won't be able to get to you with better answer for a
bit. I suspect that others here will be able to help you out though. PatV
said he sent youa reply but that for some reason it didn't go through. If
no one else jumps in I will asap. At the risk of stating the obvious,
check that you spelled shaderDDfile correctly (notice the double D). This
is one of the most common errors and I noticed that you spelled it wrong
(well right but wrong) in your email. Do the directions in the PIP and old
THEME PROJECT help any, or have you already tried these too?
If you still need help, please give us your exact configuration of
AutoSHADE and upload the lines of the EGA.bat file you are using so we can
check out the problem and get you a solution. Can you also give me the
exact wording of the error message you get? Trouble shooting from a
distance is difficult without these "details"
Thanks,
wayne
