NOOOOOOooooo! D1 pixels are NOT square! You will get a squished image if you render to D1 at 720×480 at 1.0 pixel aspect ratio. The correct ratio is around 0.88.

Actually, in all the places I've been to that output to D1 .90 or .91 is the A/R of choice. Jack
