I really can't recall if I've had a disk stuck in the drive for sure, I know there have been a few times where I had to play to get them off (mainly due to loose metal flaps on the disk or the spring in the floppy deciding to unspring) but I did get them out in a relatively short period of time. I've been living with the problem for about a year now…It's finally driving me nuts.. On a related topic…A friend of mine gave me his old Internal floppy when he got a Internal HD for his 500. I tried installing it but when I turned the power on, the drive light went on and just stayed on and the computer would not boot. Any Ideas what would cause this? Replacing my original drive the computer would work just fine. Craig Glaser

Craig: If you were putting it in as df1:, I think you have to change a jumper on the drive. This happened to me several years ago, and I nearly went crazy until I futured it out. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly how you reset that jumper! Maybe someone else knows. – via Whap!
