Queue View – Shareware Version 1.0s 3D Studio Network rendering queue viewer for Windows Queue View allows you to easily monitor the status of your network render queue processes without having to shell out of Windows into 3D Studio. It also allows you to view the net queue without locking its access by others. Uploaded to the Utilities section of this forum are Qview.zip and QviewL.zip. Qview.zip contains the full installation and QviewL.zip is for those of you who already have VBRUN300.dll on your system. Feedback, bugs and wishlist comments are welcome! Thanks, it's the kind of application I wanted to write for some time now, only this is just the 'viewer'. I'm working on Queue Manager that will allow you to not only edit the queue, it'll make Julienne fries too! J-me DPh

Yeah, the full blown one (Queue Manager) is under construction and depending on other projects should take no more than a month to get together. Did I mention that if you reg your Queue View, the $20.00 goes towards the purchase of Queue Manager? (no set price yet) Anyway, I plan to incorporate feedback on the viewer into the Manager. Jamie, The first thing I noticed was your sign-on of DPh (instead of PhD). Maybe you ought to reserve the name with the Secretary of State for possible future incorporation, too. Jamie, You can reach the California Secretary of State, Corporate Name Availability Unit @ 916/322-2387. I think you'll spend less time on hold then for Autodesk Tech Support. As for the Internet thing, we're looking into access, but probably not for our own Home Page & Server (although SGI has suggested we could sell electronic publishing systems with SGI servers). Right now, we're focusing the SGI business on more traditional pre-press applications, and will be adding the 3DS SGI renderer. I'm comfortable with Compu$erve, but haven't tried the Internet, yet. Guess I can't figure out who to purchase access through in L.A. Anyway, hope all is well with you & the spousette, and that your business activities are successful.
