I'll be watching CBS for your animations and JKJ's models!

We only piggyback on the best… :^)

Well, since you've put it _that_ way . . . welcome aboard!
CBS did show several of my segments this morning during trial coverage. The
local news here showed them tonite . . . and then cut to an interview with
someone from FTI (who had nothing to do with it). That's so annoying.
Thanks for the kind words.

I caught the work that you did for CBS last night, Alec… Very nice stuff,
although KPIX butchered it up (as usual). I'm looking forward to seeing the
entire set of animations that you did for CBS at some point.
It sure is great to see you doing 24-bit par-based animations instead of flics!

Thanks, Gary. But I think what you saw was a broadcast from a vhs dub! The
quality of the images were horrible. The stuff is really much, much cleaner
than that. When I get all this stuff done, I'll get you a copy of everything.
Yes, 24 bit is pretty but flics are not dead. For courtroom use, I still need
the amazing features and flexibility of AAP to create a segment with arrows,
titles, cut-and-pasted images, etc.
But one thing is clear to me regarding 3DS and PAR and "broadcast quality": the
network technical people think all my 3DS work is indeed "broadcast quality."
And these are guys who work only in D1 and BetaSP and who have Wavefront and
everthing else at hand.

Argh… that was from a vhs dub, eh? Not bad for vhs! <g>

On the local news tonight, they showed a clip of a person walking out to a
Bronco (I think – it was pretty quick.) The clip had a dial-type clock in one
corner of the screen. They attributed the work to some software company in
Gilbert, AZ. Was it actually yours?

Hi Evan,
No that Bronco thing wasn't mine although I've got some similar stuff.
Thanks for keeping an eye out for me. Sure is a lot of competition around these
days.

Aye, aye, captain! <insert sound of smart salute here> (ouch, my forehead!)
Great to see your "movin' pitures" getting the recognition they deserve – even
if you aren't! :^)

Thanks, Greg!
