#Looking for 3ds work
5 messages in this thread
I am looking to get into 3dstudio full time. I have been in the AutoCAD world
for the last 7 years and want to get into the multimedia end of the business in
a big way.
If there is anybody in the pennsylvania area looking for a person with lots of
experience with AutoCAD and now 3dstudio let me know and I will send you my
resume via E-mail, or regular mail.

Hi Michael,
I am the Autodesk Regional Sales Manager for multimedia products. Please tell
me a little more about yourself, location, background, type of position wanted.
I talk to lots of resellers and customers in the NJ/PA area, perhaps I can
help.
Richard,
Thanks for the reply. I was in Orlando on business and did not return until
this
morning.
I have an associates in Architecture and have been involved with PC's since
1987
and am well versed in just about every aspect of the PC from setting up a new
PC
to the Internet (DOS and Windows) and everthing in between (with the exception
of
programming).
I live in the burbs about 20 miles from Philadelphia.
I started with CAD in 1986 working for a real estate developer converting ALL
their
buildings into CADVANCE to keep track of their assets.
In 1987, an opportunity arose to work with AutoCAD for a CAD consulting company
and I have been their ever since overseeing the growth of the department. I am
the
manager of that department responsible for ALL PC related issues from
installation
to communications.
I have been using 3DSTUDIO on my own creating renderings and animations of
buildings, interiors, products, characters, etc.. and feel that my next logical
step
is to work with a company that creates renderings, animations and multimedia
applications using 3DSTUDIO for clients. etc..
APPLICATION SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE:
AutoCAD r12 (DOS and WIndows)
3DSTUDIO r3
Animator PRO 1.3
BigD
Windows
Tempra PRO
I look forward to hear from you again. Thanks, Richard.

Hello Michael,
We may be neighbors…I also live in the Philadephia suburbs (Bala Cynwyd).
I'm in a similiar situation, I'm a CAD manager for a local Hospital using
ACAD12. I've been using ACAD since '87 and I've recently starting learning 3D
studio on my own time. AutoCad is starting to seem really boring, once you
start working in 3D studio.
I'd like to create a 3D Studio users group, the one I was in has seemed
to fall-off. Please write back I'd like to talk with you about these things…
Thanks,
Bill
Hi Mike,
stumbled over your message that you use Tempra Pro….
do you know any player for .flx (hicolor) files (besides DTV)
Thanks
Michael
