Please, Macs flaunt the SCSI standard. I don't know how many will admit
it publically but, if honest about it, drive manufactures will tell you
that Macs can be a real problem.

As a tech for an all-mac DTP firm, I can only wearily agree with you that
the Mac's SCSI is not the best. Despite what the official Apple line is,
their SCSI is NOT standard SCSI. So many devices act very flakey on a mac,
and function just fine on my Amiga.
