#IBM formatter 3-1/2

Don't think you can get more than 360K on an IBM 3.5" under Transformer. There IS a command from DOS that lets you format a disk as single side only, tho God only knows why you'd want to since you can't flip over a microfloppy like a 5" floppy! (And what a true pleasure it is NOT to have to deal with those &%$@# write-protect sticky tabs anymore!!!) But…more than 360K? don't think so (Someone will *undoubtely* prove me wrong!)

The new version of DOS for the IBM is rumored to have the capablity to format 3.5 drives on an IBM at 800-880k. This is so that Ibm PC owners can pretend that they have Amigas. But you can probably use this to your own advantage by formatting the disk in DF0: or DF1: or wherever as IBM DOS in this 8?0k format…
